Making Courseware Using EDMODO
As we all know that COVID-19 pandemic hasn't been over yet and all schools need to have online learning. Many schools also have developed their own LMS (Learning Management System). However, schools still might also need other LMS to help them and teachers to have the class become more interactive. One of the courseware itself is EDMODO.
Many people know Edmodo. This application help teachers to make their class becomes more interactive. Edmodo also has many features like making quiz and place for submitting students' assignment. On this post we are going to talk about it. We are going to talk about how to use and to make a courseware using Edmodo. So, check this out:
- Open the website (https://new.edmodo.com/)
- Login to Edmodo to make or create the class. If you don't have the account you can directly sign up using the option given. Here is the place where you can sign-in/login. And the second picture is the option which you can choose to sign-in.
After you make the class, you can start your class by greeting your students, giving explanation including with giving attachment, giving quiz and exercise using the quiz section, and also you can also give assignment to your students.
Here is the way to put your greeting ad discussion
- You can type your greetings and type your materials including attaching files on the place where you can see "start discussion, start materials, and ect."
- After you finished with your greetings/explanation or/and attach your file, you can click "post." The first picture below is the place where you can find the place to type. The second picture is the display or how the place to type is look like.
When you want to make sure whether your students understand or not you can test it using quiz section. Here is the way you make the quiz:
- Click "create" and choose "quiz"
If you also want to give assignment, you can also use the assignment feature. Here are the steps:
- Click "create" then "assignment".
- Put the assignment detail. Starting from the title and the instruction.
- You click "assign" on the top right. Then you can also set the deadline. After you finished setting the time, click "assign".
Then if you want to share the code, you can directly click 3 button besides create and there is an URL there. You can copy it and share it to your students.
Or you can also click invite on the right side of the page, and you will see the code. You can give the code to your students.
